The latest in what's going on in the world of breakfast: Cap’n Crunch now in pancake form, and maybe waffles too Last year, PepsiCo's Cap’n Crunch brand came out with Blueberry Pancake Crunch cereal. But this year, the brand is going one step further with the launch of Cap’n Crunch’s Berrytastic Pancake Mix. Details are scarce, but Instagram account @junkbanter got their hands on a picture of the product, which rumor has it can also be used as a waffle mix. The product is filled with “flavored bits,” as described on the box, but doesn't explain further. But with the bits appearing to be the colors red, green, blue and purple, it's a safe bet that those "flavored bits" are the crunch berries themselves! OK not really, but it's fair to say that many people who claim to be vegan aren't exactly sure if cereal can be part of their everyday diet. So can vegans have cereal? The short answer: Yes.
