Bostik, the adhesives business line of Arkema, is proud to unveil its latest range of Bio-based Specialty Hot Melt Adhesives, including specifically Copolyesters and Copolyamides. These adhesives are designed to meet the increasing demand for more sustainable materials in the manufacturing of technical textile, automotive interior, filters, electronics, footwear among others.

In today's world, there is a growing focus on environmental sustainability and reducing carbon footprints. Recognizing this need, Bostik has focused its strategy to develop a range of high-performance, bio-based hot melt adhesives. These new offerings provide manufacturers with a more sustainable alternative without compromising on performance, strength, or durability. Available as pellets, powders, webs and films, these adhesives adapt to existing and future equipment methods.  
 
Easy to process, they bring up to 90% and more, of bio-based content. Bostik is leveraging Arkema’s long experience in high-performance bio-based materials and particularly a unique know-how in the chemistry of the castor plant, a non-edible plant, from which a wide range of high-performance long-chain biosourced polyamides are made.  

Bio-based Specialty Hot Melt Adhesives, including Copolyesters and Copolyamides, are derived from renewable resources, such as oil producing plants. By utilizing vegetable oils, Bostik contributes to a reduced reliance on fossil fuels and promotes a more circular economy.
