The functional Froosh+ smoothies with ingredients that support wellbeing are now packed into lightweight paper cans, whose carbon footprint is approximately 28%[1)] smaller than that of a reusable glass bottle. The product family is also expanding with a new, fresh flavour: Froosh+ Energizer Smoothie gets its taste from mango, carrot and ginger, and it contains added caffeine and vitamin C to help reduce tiredness [4) 5)]. The products will be available in shops in October 2023.

Sustainability is in the core of Fazer’s operations and strategy, and the company is committed to reducing its carbon dioxide emissions by 42% by the year 2030, compared to 2020. In addition, Fazer is committed to reducing food waste by 50% by the year 2030. Each of Fazer's businesses has a clear action plan to achieve their goals.

We are now moving our Froosh+ smoothies from glass bottles to lightweight paper cans. A fresh new smoothie gets a kick from caffeine and vitamin C

Consumer interest in functional foods that increase physical performance and benefit health is continuously growing7). Functional Froosh+ smoothies have been developed to meet this demand: In addition to fruit and berries, they contain vitamins, caffeine and other ingredients that support wellbeing. Froosh smoothies don’t contain any added sugar or preservatives.The new product in the family, Froosh+ Energizer, 235 ml, is a refreshing fruity smoothie with mango, orange and carrot. The smoothie gets an extra kick from ginger and caffeine, and the added vitamin C helps reduce tiredness4) 5).

Mango is one of our most popular smoothie flavours, and to accommodate our consumers’ wishes, we wanted to introduce mango to the Froosh+ product line”, Jureskog says.

The Froosh+ product family also includes two other smoothies: The berry bomb Froosh+ Focus gets its flavour from blackcurrant, strawberry and acai, and zinc and iron contribute to normal cognitive function2).

Refreshing and green, Froosh+ Immunity contains apple, pear, kiwifruit, and ginger, and the added vitamins B6 and B12 contribute to the normal function of the immune system3).
