KLABIN S.A. (“Klabin” or "Company"), in accordance with article 157, paragraph 4 of Law n 6,404/76 and CVM Resolution N 44/2021, announces to its shareholders and the market in general that, on this date, it has signed the necessary documents for the sale of approximately 8.0 thousand hectares of forest¹, equivalent to 3.2 million m³ of standing wood, with a sales value of R$ 230 million ("Operation"). At the same time, Klabin signed a repurchase option agreement valid until 2036 for up to 2.2 million m³ of wood. The completion of the Operation is subject to approval by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE). The Operation is in line with Klabin's forest supply strategy and reinforces its diligent management of assets, wood costs and efficient capital allocation.
