The latest in what's going on in the world of cereal:

Never pick plain, bland bits out of your cereal again

Were you one of those kids who would pick out the marshmallows in their cereal because you couldn't be bothered by the plain, bland bits?

If so, then be prepared for the kid inside of you to have its cereal dream come true thanks to Medley Hills Farm (MHF), which is selling a 1-lb. bag on Amazon consisting of nothing but cereal marshmallows. MHF--an Ohio-based, family owned-small business that specializes in unique candies, snacks and baking supplies--is currently being sold on Amazon for $12.99.

If you can't find your cereal at Walmart, it probably doesn't exist

If you're a cereal lover and a Walmart shopper, you're in luck: Todd Cruise, Merchandising Director at Walmart, recently announced on LinkedIn that 45 new cereals are being launched at the super store.

"Loaded" Trix and Cocoa Puffs, Mega Stuf Oreo O's, and even WK Kellogg's new "Eat Your Mouth Off" brand: If you can't find a cereal you like, then the cereal that meets your pallet probably doesn't exist.

A non-breakfast cereal? General Mills answers the call

The notion behind eating cereal as a snack food is nothing new. But General Mills recently leaned heavily into the concept by launching new cereal options for six of its popular brands to cater to these "cereal for snack" consumers.

Options inclide: Trix with Marshmallows, Lucky Charms Berry Swirl, Reese's Puffs Peanut Butter Lovers and Honey Nut Cheerios Minis.
