PFNonwovens starts up complete A.Celli Nonwovens end-of-line for its new Reicofil R5 spunbond line at Hazleton, Pennsylvania, facility; order includes E-Wind winder, slitter rewinder, R-Way Automatic Packaging with two robots, wrapper, label verification

HAZLETON, Pennsylvania , April 6, 2023 (press release) –

PFNonwovens, a long-time partner of A. Celli Nonwovens, signed the order acceptance for the end-of-line equipment commissioned on April 2022.

PFNonwovens, after six A. Celli lines acquired over the years for their Hazleton plant in Pennsylvania, signed the order acceptance for the complete end-of-line provided for the new Reicofil R5 line, following the successful start-up at the beginning of March.

A.Celli’s scope of supply for the project in object included 

• E-WIND® WAVE axial/surface driven master roll winder with a design speed of 1100 mpm
• Stock stations for the handling of Master Rolls 
• E-WIND® SUPERSONIC off-line slitter rewinder, with a design speed of 1800 mpm
• E-WIND® COREMATIC EVO for automatic shaft handling and core cutting
• R-WAY® Automatic Packaging System with 2 robots, vertical and horizontal wrapper and label verification system

We currently have six other lines in Hazleton that are running A.Celli’s machinery and we appreciate the partnership for this project involving the new R5 line”.
