BIO-BASED PRODUCTS SHOWCASE.
Made in Europe with Europe’s natural resources… and technology!

In the future, anything can be made of wood fibre, providing renewable and recyclable, low-carbon alternatives to many fossil-based materials and products. Through circularity, wood-based textiles, construction items and technologies for carbon neutrality, paper and fibre-based products represent a tangible way for Europe to strengthen its open strategic autonomy and, at the same time, for citizens to make sustainable consumption choices in their daily life. This exhibition offers a window into a world where the pulp and paper sector can make sustainable and climate-friendly products the new normal for a climate-compatible economy.

Formerly known as Paper Presents, the exhibition will gather a variety of products from all over Europe.

We invite you to submit your innovations that can meet the citizens’ daily needs with a strong focus on applications related to health, construction, mobility and automotive.

The selected products will have a chance to be exhibited at COFO27 in Rome (22-27 July) and in front of the newly elected MEPs in Brussels (23-24 September).

You can submit your application here by 12 April 2024.

What we look for:

  • We encourage all Cepi national associations and the paper value chain to submit proposals for exhibiting innovative paper and/or forest fibre-based products with a strong focus on applications related to health, construction, mobility and automotive
  • Products should be innovative (on its usage and/or producing process). This should be fully justified in the application

What we offer:

  • The possibility of showcasing the products at the 27th session of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN’s (FAO) Committee on Forestry (COFO 27) in Rome on 22-26 July 2024 If selected by FAO
  • The possibility of showcasing the products to the newly elected Members of the European Parliament in Brussels on 23-24 September 2024 in Brussels
  • One representative of the company producing a selected product will be welcome to attend the event(s) free of cost (only the shipping costs will need to be handled)
  • Visibility: The company’s name and product’s description will be featured in our event exhibition guide. In addition, they will be mentioned in our communications (teaser, social media)
  • The exhibition will be an opportunity to see what other companies and associations of our sector are doing, to network with other industry representatives and with EU policymakers

Important:

  • Before submitting please be sure that the product you are proposing will be easy to transport to Rome and/or Brussels in due time
  • No financial transaction/fees – only the cost of shipping to and from the exhibition
  • Depending on the number of applications received and due to the limited space, Cepi will evaluate which products are more appropriate to select
  • Cepi will ensure the selected products showcase the diverse geographical representation of our industry
  • Deadline for receiving applications is 12 April 2024.
  • Applications can be submitted here
