WaterWipes partners with Nextdoor to launch free 'Hallowclean' stations, offering its pure baby wipes across select US cities for Halloween trick-or-treating clean-ups; singer, actress Kelly Rowland endorses campaign

Hallowclean stations will be stocked with the world's purest baby wipes for candy seekers everywhere to use in select markets nationwide

From cackling clowns to spine-chilling spiderwebs, parents have to prepare for all the spooky-scary moments of trick-or-treating – and yet there's one they often forget. According to a recent survey¹, only 16 percent say they plan for messes or accidents that occur while trick-or-treating – from sugar-coated fingers to chocolate mustached faces. And yet, 85 percent of parents report their kids start digging into their candy before they get home.

 

This year, WaterWipes^®, the world's purest baby wipe, is helping families embrace the mess with 10 Hallowclean stations placed in Dallas, Denver, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City on Halloween night. Each station will be equipped with free wipes that neighborhood parents, kids and ghouls alike can use to clean up sticky hands and faces so they can stay on the quest for candy longer.

To help parents plan their routes in advance and ensure there are wipes along the way, WaterWipes^® teamed up with Nextdoor, the neighborhood network and its annual Treat Map, an interactive local guide for celebrating Halloween. All parents have to do is download the Nextdoor app and look for the WaterWipes "W" on the Treat Map, accessible from the Discover tab.

WaterWipes^® kicked off the Hallowclean fun at the Brooklyn Bridge Harvest Festival last week with a super-sized Hallowclean Machine that scanned each kid with mess-detecting technology in exchange for some wipes. They were joined by Kelly Rowland, who demonstrated how it worked with her two-year-old son, Noah.

¹ WaterWipes^® and TRUE Global Intelligence, the in-house research practice of FleishmanHillard, conducted an online survey among a sample of 1,008 parents of kids under 18 years of age. The online omnibus study via Big Village was conducted from August 15-20.
