The Indoor Environmental Healthcare and Hospitality Association (IEHA), a Division of ISSA, today announced that the 33rd annual 2023 IEHA Housekeeping Olympics will take place Monday, November 13, 2023, from 5 to 10 p.m. PST, at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Housekeeping teams from the United States and Canada, including hometown Las Vegas teams from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas®, Bellagio® Hotel, and many other businesses, will compete for the prestigious grand prize trophy.

The IEHA Housekeeping Olympics are hosted in conjunction with ISSA Show North America, the cleaning industry’s largest annual event, which takes place November 13-16 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

”The Housekeeping Olympics are an incredible opportunity for cleaning professionals to come together and showcase their expertise in a spirited and engaging competition,” said IEHA Executive Director Michael Patterson. “This event highlights the importance of excellence in the cleaning industry and recognizes the hard work and dedication of the participants.”

The event provides a unique opportunity for companies and individuals to showcase their expertise, demonstrate their commitment to excellence, and engage in a thrilling competition that tests their skills in various cleaning-related challenges.

Participants will represent their organizations and vie for the ultimate recognition as they compete in a series of exciting events like precision bed-making, a mop relay, and a rapid vacuum race. The Housekeeping Olympics offers a platform to display the field’s best practices, techniques, and innovations.

”IEHA invites cleaning professionals from around the world to join us at the Housekeeping Olympics and demonstrate their exceptional skills and teamwork,” said Patterson. “This event promises excitement, camaraderie, and the opportunity to make lasting connections.”
