Suzano extends its line of double-ply toilet paper under the Mimmo and Max Pure brands, now also sold in packs of six 40-meter rolls; move follows company's survey, finding 74% of people interviewed prefer toilet paper packages with fewer but larger rolls

The products are sold in packs of six 40 meter rolls, an option that guarantees greater yield and better cost-benefit for the consumer. 

Suzano , a global reference in the manufacture of bioproducts developed from eucalyptus cultivation, through its Consumer Goods unit, has just announced an extension of the line of double-ply toilet paper under the Mimmo® and Max Pure® brands, which now also are sold in packs of six 40 meter rolls. The novelty guarantees greater yield and better cost-benefit for consumers and has been available to the market in the Northeast, Southeast and Central-West regions since September 2023.  

Before expanding its portfolio, Suzano, with the support of an external consultancy, carried out research to understand consumers' purchasing decisions. The study, carried out in 2023, with people from classes A, B and C, identified that 74% of people interviewed prefer toilet paper packaging with fewer rolls, but with larger rolls. The main justifications for this choice are related to cost-benefit, the fact that the product takes up less space and the profitability offered. 

''The research carried out shows what consumers are looking for and we, as leaders in the toilet paper category in Brazil, meet this demand by offering high quality and high performance products. Furthermore, we are committed to providing increasingly sustainable solutions, aligned with Suzano's entire strategy,'' says Débora Bertolozzi, executive marketing manager at Suzano. 

The concern with sustainability is reflected in the packs in the new Max Pure® and Mimmo® line, for example, which are produced with 35% less plastic waste. This initiative complements another action, announced in 2022, in which the company developed a new version of the Mimmo® Folha Dupla 12-roll toilet paper packaging, made with paper produced from raw materials from renewable sources. 

The new Mimmo® and Max Pure® products join other packs from the brands that range from four to forty rolls of double-ply toilet paper, measuring 30 to 40 meters and which can be found in different regions of the country.
