At Metsä Tissue, we make sure that we take care of the quality of our tissue products and continuously work to improve them. One important quality improvement was made in Žilina mill in Slovakia at the end of 2021, when we changed the last Tento branded household paper to a 100 % fresh fibre product. “Thanks to this improvement, we increased Tento Complex’s thickness and strength and this is not only seen in the quality parameters, but also our consumers have noticed it. The product was awarded with “The choice of consumers” in the Best Novelty in Paper program in 2022 in both Slovakia and Czech republic. The study was conducted with 2000 respondents as a representative group. Tento Complex product won also a special award in Slovakia as an Absolute winner, which means that out of all the categories Tento reached the highest numbers of votes. The award included 5000 € voucher for in-store radio support in the 2nd biggest customer in Slovak retail – Tesco Stores Slovakia. The award was granted by ATOZ Group, supported by Nielsen IQ.
