BERLIN/LUDWIGSBURG, Germany , June 27, 2022 (press release) –

MANN+HUMMEL presents solutions for a cleaner future with filtration at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL

From June 22 - 24, the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, one of the international pioneering events for green technologies, takes place in Berlin at the former Tegel airport site. Under the motto #TogetherWeChange, it brings together decision-makers from business, politics and society. The focus is on forward-looking technologies for sustainable change, across all sectors - from fashion and mobility to sustainable construction.

Filtration solutions for urban infrastructure

MANN+HUMMEL is represented at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL for the third time this year. As a co-exhibitor together with STRÖER, the leading provider of urban outdoor advertising, the family-owned company from Ludwigsburg shows how filtration solutions can be intelligently integrated into urban infrastructure - for example in bus stops or digital city information systems. Thus, they help to fulfill the basic human need for cleaner air.

Thought leaders in the Urban Sustainability Hub

Drees & Sommer, a consulting firm specializing in construction and real estate, created the "Urban Sustainability Hub", a large exhibition area where 18 innovation drivers from the construction and real estate sectors, including MANN+HUMMEL, jointly present pioneering solutions for sustainable urban development, climate-friendly construction, and healthy living and working in the city. In addition to filtration elements for the purification of polluted air, MANN+HUMMEL also shows its technologies for the treatment of polluted water here for the first time.

"At the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, we can not only show how filtration can ensure cleaner air, water and mobility in the future, but also impressively demonstrate the often invisible contribution that this key technology already makes today," said Jan-Eric Raschke, Director Public Affairs at MANN+HUMMEL.

MANN+HUMMEL again GREENTECH hygiene partner

MANN+HUMMEL's solutions are not only exhibited at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, but are also used directly there. The filtration specialist is accompanying the trade fair once again this year as a hygiene partner.

The company provides a total of more than 40 antiviral air purifiers. They are spread across the exhibition area in the former Tegel airport grounds and ensure a safe event environment in the presence of persistent corona infection.
