Kruger Products is pleased to announce that its plant in Sherbrooke, Québec won a Mercure award in the Economic and Regional Development Contribution category at the 43rd gala of the prestigious industry competition of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ). Building this state-of-the-art tissue paper plant in Sherbrooke, QC has resulted in $600 million in investments, and the creation of 180 high-quality permanent jobs, contributing directly to the economic vitality of the Estrie region. The construction site, which mobilizes approximately 1,700 workers, was completed on time and on budget despite the significant challenges caused by the pandemic throughout the work. “The entire team at Kruger Products Sherbrooke is extremely proud to receive these awards.
