Green Seal® is currently seeking applicants to participate in the working group for an upcoming revision to its GS-1 Sanitary Paper Products standard.

The organization is seeking paper manufacturers, experts in solid waste and recycling, and green product procurement professionals to develop draft criteria for public comment. The revision process will include evaluating the standard’s recycled content requirements, exploring potential certification pathways for sustainably sourced alternative fibers, and evaluating leadership criteria for both the household and the away-from-home markets.
