March 5, 2024 (press release) –

On 27 February 2024, we welcomed 20 representatives of the ChePap Rhein-Ruhr IV energy efficiency and climate protection network to our plant in Bielefeld. 15 companies from the paper and chemical industry exchanged views on climate protection and energy efficiency. The topic of hydrogen was also on the extensive agenda.

A key objective of the German government's energy transition is to improve energy efficiency. With the adoption of the Climate Protection Programme 2030 and the Climate Protection Act, the 2030 climate targets for Germany were made binding and the fields of action for achieving the targets were specified.

ChePap Rhine-Ruhr IV offers participating companies the opportunity to identify individual energy-saving potential, increase energy efficiency and reduce energy costs in the long term - thus making an important contribution to achieving the climate and energy policy goals of the Federal Republic of Germany.
