In May, imports saw a month-to-month surge of aluminum scrap imports from India by 20.85% to 48,100 tonnes, marking the most significant sequential increase of the year so far, reports AlCircle. Nevertheless, comparing January-May 2023 to the same timeframe the previous year, imports slightly fell by 1,000 tonnes.
