Anthony Magaraci, the founder and CEO of Trinity Packaging Supply (Trinity) and SupplyStream, has been awarded Rowan University’s first-ever Global Impact Award. This award recognizes an alumnus who excels in their chosen endeavors, civic involvement, and community impact. “Anthony stood out as a titan in the packaging industry, founding both Trinity Packaging Supply and SupplyStream. Additionally, Anthony’s passion for supporting a variety of causes made it clear that giving back is something that Anthony truly values,” said Rowan University’s Alumni Board of Directors. “Anthony’s personal and professional accomplishments are driving forces behind him being our inaugural recipient.” Anthony was one of the first eight graduates of Rowan University's Entrepreneurship Program, where he received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration: Entrepreneurship. He currently serves on Rowan's Entrepreneurship Advisory Council, mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs. Anthony and his entrepreneurial success are featured in the textbook Entrepreneurship: The Practice and Mindset by Heidi Neck. “It is surreal to be honored with this award. I never could have imagined this when I was sitting in the classroom, just trying to get by,” said Magaraci. “As an entrepreneur student, I felt like a fraud. I had no inventions, ideas for businesses, or money. Professor Kimble Byrd gave me the confidence that I could succeed as an entrepreneur. Rowan University’s Entrepreneurship Program faculty bridged academia with the real world, which left a lasting impact on me and gave me the foundation to create Trinity Packaging Supply and SupplyStream. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.” Three years after graduating from Rowan, on the heels of a recession and with a baby on the way, Anthony founded Trinity Packaging Supply from his home office. Since then, he has grown Trinity into a $100 million company that has made the Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in America list seven times in a row, the Inc. Best Places to Work list four times, and ranked 89th on Fortune’s list of America’s Most Innovative Companies 2023. Anthony’s latest innovation, SupplyStream, is a first-of-its-kind e-commerce platform that is revolutionizing the wholesale industry. Anthony is passionate about philanthropy. In 2022, he donated over $2 million to charitable causes, including the American Heart Association and the NAACP Youth Council. On a global scale, he helped form the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Manufacturing Coalition to Fight COVID-19, which worked with companies in India and China to ensure an available supply of PPE at a time when no one could procure any. In addition to Trinity’s various accolades, Anthony holds many distinguished awards. He was named South Jersey Entrepreneur of the Year, one of the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce’s 40 Under 40 winners, and a finalist for the Orange County Business Journal’s Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award and Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 for the Pacific Southwest region.
