“When you are transforming a brand the first thing you need to focus on is what your customers wants, and ever more importantly how to give them things they don’t even know they need (yet).” Those were the words of Jeanniey Walden, Chief Marketing Officer for Rite Aid, who added in a recent LinkedIn post that the company is “on a mission to do just that” after announcing the launch of same-day delivery service for customers within 15 miles of select store locations. Rite Aid customers will be able to shop for over 17,000 essential health and personal care, grocery and household items for same-day delivery and receive their order right to their door within three hours by selecting same-day delivery at checkout. Customers will receive real-time tracking for their order and its arrival. A Rite Aid Rewards membership is not required for same-day delivery orders. (We are) “working hard to understand what we can do to show our customers and our associates that it just means more to be able to delight everyone who supports us,” Walden said.
