A Datafolha survey, commissioned by Suzano, also reveals that 70% of the audience present in the first three days of the festival is concerned with issues of sustainability and preservation of the environment.

Suzano , a global reference in the manufacture of bioproducts developed from the cultivation of eucalyptus and official sustainability partner of Rock in Rio Brasil 2022, commissioned a survey with the Datafolha institute to understand the opinion and consumption habits of the festival's public in relation to to sustainability. The survey showed that 67% of people interviewed consider paper to be the most sustainable product for packaging and disposable products. In addition, most respondents are concerned with sustainability and environmental preservation. The survey, carried out on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of September, surveyed 1,221 people aged 16 and over.

Still reinforcing the trend of public awareness of Rock in Rio, 69% of respondents believe that individual attitudes contribute a lot to sustainability and the preservation of the environment and 84% believe that they take more sustainable attitudes than their parents.

“The results demonstrate the importance of acting now. We want a collective protagonism to solve such urgent environmental and social issues, which is why Suzano works on several fronts, helping to make each person's life more sustainable through our products. The future is in our hands”, says Talita Pareja Sato, Communication and Brand manager at Suzano.

The survey also asked people about issues related to carbon emissions.
