Steinbeis Papier is fundamentally enhancing its product portfolio with STEINBEIS LABEL WET. The wet-strength and alkali-resistant label paper by the market leader in graphical recycled paper represents nothing less than a milestone. Customers can use it on their products as a sign of their commitment to greater sustainability. Tins, drink bottles, shipping boxes – many everyday products would be completely inconceivable without a paper label. They are the face of their products, providing information about the contents and intended use and performing functions that go above and beyond this. The properties of the papers selected for this purpose are as diverse as the areas in which they are used. Steinbeis Papier is constantly working on the development of new products and has especially been focusing on label paper. Analyses have shown that recycled papers from Steinbeis are particularly suitable for producing label papers. The company is now taking a bold step and establishing a new product segment in its recycled papers portfolio. STEINBEIS LABEL WET is suitable for all common labels on drink bottles and glass jars using wet glue, hot melt adhesive and self-adhesive applications. In the offset and flexographic printing process, the wet-strength and alkali-resistant label paper can be printed on with the best punching properties. It is made from 100 per cent recycled paper and has been awarded Blue Angel certification and the EU Ecolabel, just like all other recycled papers at Steinbeis Papier. Thanks to its sustainable fibrous raw material and the manufacturing process in an integrated factory, STEINBEIS LABEL WET represents the ideal eco-friendly alternative to all labels made of virgin paper.
