RDM Group is continuing a temporarily halt to production at its Blendecques mill in northern France, one week after a fire at the facility, Euwid reported on March 29. A company representative told Euwid the source of the fire had not yet been determined. RDM is still working with firefighters and local authorities as they investigate what caused the blaze. A March 22 fire at the mill affected its sheeting and finishing departments, as well as the mill’s warehouse. However, the company said its production line was not damaged, and no employees were involved or injured. RDM Blendecques produces recycled cartonboard at a capacity of 140,000 tons/year. RDM Group announced on March 23 that it is working to manage any delivery or production delays.
