The unit located in Telêmaco Borba (PR) resumes its operations after 11 days of maintenance Paraná, July 5, 2023 – The Monte Alegre Unit, in Telêmaco Borba (PR), begins the processes of gradual demobilization of the teams hired for the General Shutdown, which started at the end of June, and the resumption of its manufacturing operations, complying with all the security procedures. Variations in odor and noise can be perceived by the surrounding community due to the resumption of activities, which should take place from this Wednesday (5). Klabin reinforces that all maintenance and return procedures are carried out in accordance with safety and environmental standards and legislation, and these changes do not pose risks to people's health. In addition to maintenance, the General Shutdown allows the Unit to undergo any improvements, such as technological updates, always with the aim of improving productivity and operating safety, with the adoption of the best practices available in the market. #ParadaGeral #UnidadeMA #TelêmacoBorba
The General Shutdown is a mandatory annual procedure, provided for in Regulatory Standard 13, aimed at companies that work with equipment called pressure vessels, such as boilers and digesters. The action is necessary for maintenance and adjustments, in order to guarantee the perfect operation of all equipment, as well as the safety and integrity of employees and the entire community.
