DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE announces the expansion of the warehouse and shipping hall. With this investment of €4.5 million, more finished goods will be stocked locally in the future. Construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2024. The planned expansion of 3,000 m² of storage space will make additional transport to an external warehouse in Celle unnecessary and thereby minimize the risk of handling and transport damage. Dr. Matthias Rauhut, Managing Director of DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE, emphasizes: “We are making our operations more sustainable and future-proof at all levels. In addition to generating electricity from renewable energies and continuously improving the energy efficiency of our machines, by expanding storage capacity directly at the factory, we are not only reducing truck traffic, but also our CO2 emissions.”
