This innovative gypsum panel is 20% lighter than traditional water and mould-resistant panels making it easier to lift, carry and install, and it has been re-engineered with a high strength-to-weight ratio composite design.
CGC Sheetrock® Brand UltraLight Panels Mold Tough have a noncombustible, water and mould-resistant core encased in 100% recycled water and mould-resistant green face and brown back papers. The green face paper is folded around the long edges to reinforce and protect the core and the ends are cut square and even. The long edges of the panels are tapered, allowing joints to be reinforced and concealed with CGC and SYNKO® Brand joint treatment systems.
Intended for areas where water and mould resistance is desired, CGC Sheetrock® Brand UltraLight Panels Mold Tough are suitable for new residential construction, repair and remodel construction, wood or steel framing, and can be used as a tile substrate in dry locations or areas with limited water exposure.
