Title of the invention: "DISPOSABLE DIAPER."
Applicants: KAO CORPORATION (JP).
Inventors: Shinobu Takei (JP) and Yuko Fukuda (JP).
According to the abstract* posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "In this diaper (1A), side panels (3) are attached to side portions (2S) of an absorbent main unit (2). The side panels (3) are formed so as to fix elastic members (33) between two side panel sheets (31 and 32) via a main unit-side adhesive layer (35) disposed on the absorbent main unit (2)-side, an outward-side adhesive layer (36) disposed on an outward-side portion (3S)-side of the side panels (3), and intermediate adhesive layers (37) disposed therebetween. Adhesive strength of the intermediate adhesive layers (37) is weaker than the main unit-side adhesive layer (35) and the outward-side adhesive layer (36). For an elastic member (33c) disposed on a side closest to a crotch portion (C), one end portion of both end portions (33I and 33O) is positioned between the main unit-side adhesive layer (35) and the outward-side adhesive layer (36), whereas the other end portion is positioned at the main unit-side adhesive layer (35) or the outward-side adhesive layer (36)."
The patent was filed on Oct. 8, 2013 under Application No. PCT/JP2013/077315.
