Grafton Merchanting GB acquires timber merchant Beaumont Forest Products, will merge with Grafton's Buildbase Division, one of the UK's fastest-growing builders merchant

ASCOT, England , July 1, 2014 (press release) – Today, 30 June 2014 Grafton Merchanting GB Ltd is pleased to announce that it has acquired Beaumont Forest Products Limited.

Beaumont, an independent timber merchant with three branches - located in Ascot, High Wycombe and Hoddesdon - will become part of Grafton Merchanting GB Ltd’s Buildbase Division, the UK's fastest growing builders merchants. The acquisition will widen the company area of operation, enabling it to better serve customers with timber products across the South East.

Grafton Merchanting GB Ltd will be investing in the three branches, expanding the stock range and introducing Hirebase and Electricbase to further meet the needs of local tradesmen. The Timber specialism that is core to the Beaumont business will provide another important specialism to the Buildbase branch network.
