After years of ever-swelling portions, U.S. food and restaurant companies in the past decade have increasingly experimented with smaller plates and packages, targeting consumers who now favor portion control, The Wall Street Journal reported June 24.
However, finding the right size for success has proven difficult for companies and consumers.
