Connecticut-based private equity firm completes purchase of Illinois-based packaging materials and systems provider Pregis

STAMFORD, Connecticut , May 21, 2014 (press release) – Stamford, Connecticut-based Olympus Partners has acquired Pregis Corporation ("Pregis"), a leading global provider of innovative protective packaging materials and systems. The company offers solutions for a wide variety of consumer and industrial market segments including food, beverage, healthcare, medical devices, agricultural, e-commerce, retail, automotive, furniture, electronics, construction and military/aerospace.

Olympus has a long history of investing in successful packaging businesses, including investments in the Waddington Group and PLZ Aeroscience.
