Title of the invention: "DISPOSABLE DIAPER."
Applicants: KAO CORPORATION (JP).
Inventors: Tomoko Fujinaka (JP), Yuko Fukuda (JP), Nobuya Sato (JP) and Toshiaki Ichimata (JP).
According to the abstract* posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "This disposable diaper (1) has a side panel (3) which extends outward in the X direction attached to each of both sides (2S) of one end side of an absorbent body (2) in the Y direction which comprises an absorbent (23) with liquid retention properties, and a fastening tape (4) which extends outward in the X direction attached to an exterior side (3S) that extends along the Y direction of the side panel (3). The fastening tape (4) is bonded to one side of the side panel (3) via a bonding region (6). The bonding region (6) comprises a first bonding region (6S) which is bonded by an adhesive and a non-bonded region (7) or a second weak bonding region (6W) which is disposed adjacent to the first bonding region (6S) on the exterior side in the X direction and has a bonding strength that is weaker than that of the first bonding region (6S)."
