Monsanto issued US patent for 'plants and seeds of hybrid corn variety CH336383'

– United States Patent no. 8,710,313, issued on April 29, was assigned to Monsanto Technology LLC (St. Louis).
"Plants and seeds of hybrid corn variety CH336383" was invented by Scott A. Bergemann (Northfield, Minn.), Fufa H. Birru (Willmar, Minn.), L. John Frederickson (Mason, Mich.), Peter Guzman (Sioux Falls, S.D.) and Richard G. Stelpflug (Cottage Grove, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "According to the invention, there is provided seed and plants of the hybrid corn variety designated CH336383. The invention thus relates to the plants, seeds and tissue cultures of the variety CH336383, and to methods for producing a corn plant produced by crossing a corn plant of variety CH336383 with itself or with another corn plant, such as a plant of another variety. The invention further relates to genetic complements of plants of variety CH336383."
The patent was filed on April 15, 2011, under Application No. 13/088,260.
