Suominen announces appointment of Lynda A. Kelly as SVP, care business area, effective May 12; Kelly most recently director, global medical and wipes at First Quality Nonwovens

HELSINKI , April 22, 2014 (press release) – Ms. Lynda A. Kelly, B. Sc, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Care business area and a member of the Corporate Executive Team at Suominen Corporation, effective 12 May 2014. Lynda A. Kelly has a long and wide-ranging experience in nonwovens business, especially in hygiene, medical and wiping products.

Most recently, she acted as Director, Global Medical and Wipes at First Quality Nonwovens. Prior to that she has worked at John R Starr, Inc. as Senior Consultant, being responsible for the worldwide medical and consumer nonwoven research, and at BBA Nonwovens, where she held several managerial positions. Ms. Kelly, a US citizen, will report to Ms. Nina Kopola, President & CEO of Suominen Corporation, and acting Senior Vice President of Care business area.
