April 20, 2014 () – India s import of vegetable oils animal or vegetable fats and product imports rose 26 79% on month on month basis to US$ 970.62 mn in March according to INfodriveIndia.com.The findings are based on customs data collected from ports. ccording to Pradeep Chief Research Associate of InfodriveIndia.com compared to February 2014 a increase of USD 970.62 M in March 2014 has been noticed. A.Imports of Palm Oil and its Fractions has grew month on month basis by 32.3%.

Total value of imports in March 2014 was 630.28 M compared to February 2014 there is a increase of 153.89 M in March 2014 growth rate in percentage terms is 32.3% the major destination countries were Indonesia and Malaysia and major Indian ports were Kandla Calcutta Sea Krishnapatanam Kakinada and Mangalore Sea .

B.Imports of Sunflower Seed Safflower or Cotton Seed Oil has grew month on month basis by 18.61%.

Total value of imports in March 2014 was 157.88 M compared to February 2014 there is a increase of 24.77 M in March 2014 growth rate in percentage terms is 18.61% the major destination countries were Ukraine argentina Poland Italy and Japan and major Indian ports were Madras Sea Krishnapatanam Kakinada JNPT and Mangalore Sea .

C.Imports of Soya Bean Oil and its Fractions grew month on month basis by 29.5%.

Total value of imports in March 2014 was 156.42 M compared to February 2014 there is a increase of 35.63 M in March 2014 growth rate in percentage terms is 29.5% the major destination countries were argentina Brazil Paraguay Germany and United States and major Indian ports were Kandla Calcutta Sea JNPT Mundra and Ahmedabad Air .

D.Imports of Coconut (Copra) Palm Kernel or Babassu Oil and Fractions grew month on month basis by 2.76%.

Total value of imports in March 2014 was 15.06 M compared to February 2014 there is a increase of 0.41 M in March 2014 growth rate in percentage terms is 2.76% the major destination countries were Indonesia Malaysia and United States and major Indian ports were Kakinada JNPT Madras Sea and Madras Air.
