Laminate and veneer commercial casework manufacturer Stevens Industries Inc. has purchased rights to produce Techline USA LLC brand commercial casework, Woodworking Network reported on April 15.
Techline, a manufacturer specializing in laminate casework for healthcare, office and education markets, announced on April 9 that it would be closing its only manufacturing facility in Waunakee, Wisconsin, citing economic difficulties, Industry Intelligence reported on April 10.
Stevens industries will continue production of Techline products at Stevens’ 430,000 sq. ft. facility in Teutopolis, Illinois. The new Techline headquarters will be located in Madison, Wisconsin.
Prior to the purchase, Stevens Industries supplied Techline with raw materials for more than 13 years.
Stevens Industries is a manufacturer of casework for educational and healthcare markets, and supplies panels and components to office furniture, store fixture, cabinet and closet industries.
