Viva l'italiano estremo! Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop is adding a new sandwich to its lunch menu. The savory Italian-style sandwich brings more variety to guests in the afternoon and will have them saying Si!

Stacked with layers of the bold Italian flavor of ham capicola, genoa salami and pepperoni, the Extreme Italian Sandwich is topped with mozzarella and a creamy sundried tomato sauce, and served on a soft, fresh parmesan and herbed-topped bun.

"Our guests told us they were looking for variety at lunch and we think our Extreme Italian Sandwich will deliver on that demand with its big, bold, zesty taste," said Mike Meilleur, executive vice president Tim Hortons U.S.

The new Extreme Italian Sandwich is made fresh to order for each guest and is available at participating Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop restaurants for $4.69.

Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop is also exclusively testing tasty lunch products in other markets, including a chorizo Handheld Pie in Columbus, Ohio, a Crispy Chicken Sandwich in Buffalo and a Meatball Panini in Detroit.
