United States Patent no. 8,692,087, issued on April 8, was assigned to Monsanto Technology LLC (St. Louis).
"Plants and seeds of hybrid corn variety CH034531" was invented by Mark J. Brinkman (Omaha, Neb.), Donn P. Cummings (Brownsburg, Ind.), Kevin D. Eichelberger (Taylorville, Ill.), Chris Eichhorn (Williamsburg, Iowa), Charles T. Foresman (St. Louis), Gregory J. Holland (Troy, Ohio), Roderick D. Lee (Huxley, Iowa), Daniel J. Lubich (Marshall, Mo.), Laron L. Peters (Gothenburg, Neb.), W. Richard Peterson (St. Charles, Mo.), Duane A. Potrzeba (Hastings, Neb.), Hector Ramirez de Leon (O'Fallon, Mo.) and Walter L. Trevisan (Dekalb, Ill.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "According to the invention, there is provided seed and plants of the hybrid corn variety designated CH034531. The invention thus relates to the plants, seeds and tissue cultures of the variety CH034531, and to methods for producing a corn plant produced by crossing a corn plant of variety CH034531 with itself or with another corn plant, such as a plant of another variety. The invention further relates to genetic complements of plants of variety CH034531."
The patent was filed on April 16, 2011, under Application No. 13/088,358.
