April 8, 2014 (press release) – Colorific is welcoming visitors to this year's Sign and Digital UK exhibition to try out its technologies for themselves by bringing their own files to print, live, on its Lightbar range of wide-format printers. This includes the recently launched UV640-PC, the market's only hybrid UV-curable/solvent print-and-cut engine, which will receive its European debut in Birmingham on April 29th to May 1st. The Colorific Reps will also be on hand to talk customers through the full ink and media range for Wide and Super Wide format machines.

"Our research over the past year indicates that sign and display producers are still using technologies they've had for five years or even a decade," explains Shaun Holdom, business development director. "That alone explains the interest in our cost-effective ink range, but also highlights the appetite for Lightbar: printers have been waiting for a platform that gives them not only increases in quality and speed, but also similar longevity to their previous investment."

Intrinsic to the Lightbar range is its hybrid formulation whose output doesn't need outgassing – an essential factor for the modern, fast-turnaround display producer. The UV-curable characteristic of durability combines with solvent's vivacity of colour and provides numerous other advantage, including imperceptibly low shrinkage and no VOCs.

The range – which hinges on Colorific's UV Light ink technology – includes the original UV640 platform, the UV640-PC print-and-cut solution, as well as the Revive and Roller range which converts most popular solvent printer into a versatile solvent/UV-curable hybrid, giving it a completely new lease of life at a surprisingly affordable fee.

Customers planning to take advantage and have their files printed will need to register their interest prior to the show by contacting Stewart Cobby at stewart.cobby@colorificink.com or by calling 01628 560890.
