INDIA , March 19, 2014 () – Cargill India is likely to commence commercial operations by June 2015, in its maize milling facility, to be established in Karnataka. The maize (corn) milling plant will be spread across 45 acre of land and will be established at an estimated cost of Rs 630 crore. The facility will process about 800 tonne of maize per day, which will be sourced from farmers of Harihar in Davanagere district and neighbouring places of Karnataka.
