Sara Investment Real Estate acquired three properties in Germantown, Wisconsin. The three buildings total 142,277 square feet and are home to Great Lakes Packaging. The properties were owned by a private entity. Traci Dalsin, Sara’s Vice President, worked with selling Brokers Ben Adank and Robert Flood of RFP Commercial on the acquisition.
The three industrial buildings comprise the headquarters of Great Lakes Packaging, founded in 1963. Great Lakes Packaging is a nationally-renowned packaging and display company which provides industrial and commercial products and services such as Point-of-Purchase displays and other packaging products.
Great Lakes Packaging focuses on offering packaging, graphical design and sustainable solutions for both industrial and commercial clients. Client companies include: GE Healthcare, Hershey’s, OfficeMax, SAB Miller, Wrigley and Rockwell Automation.
In 2012 a private-equity firm, Arbor Investments, acquired Great Lakes Packaging. Arbor Investment owns Midland Packaging & Display of Franksville, Wisconsin; Five Star Sheets of New Carlisle, Indiana; and Keyes Packaging Group of Wenatchee, Washington. This packaging platform provides Great Lakes Packaging with many valuable resources and partners for product and service collaboration.
