SAN FRANCISCO , November 8, 2013 (press release) – Iconic Chocolatier Creates New Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter Impressions

The Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, a leading manufacturer of premium chocolate products since 1852, is launching Impressions, a new limited edition line of chocolate for three holidays: Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter.

The Impressions line, the first of its kind from Ghirardelli, features beautifully detailed seasonal cameos in rich white or dark chocolate placed on top of creamy milk chocolate squares. Impressions are individually wrapped in a package of 16 squares per bag with a suggested retail price of $5.99.

The first to launch in November 2013, Ghirardelli Holiday Impressions showcase a decadent white chocolate snowman, Santa or Christmas tree set above a background of premium milk chocolate. Ghirardelli's Holiday Impressions will delight chocolate lovers in candy dishes and stockings, and add a festive flair as a topper for homemade treats like cupcakes.

Available in January 2014, Ghirardelli's Valentine's Day Impressions feature rich white or dark chocolate heart cameos with classic messages of endearment, such as "Love" or "Be Mine," making them a sweet alternative to the typical box of chocolates or conversation hearts.

Ideal for filling Easter baskets, Ghirardelli's Spring Impressions are available in February 2014 and include fanciful bunny and Easter basket cameos in mouthwatering white or dark chocolate.

"Our new line of seasonal chocolate Impressions are a fun, delicious way to bring a little sweetness to your favorite holidays," said Jane Hsieh, Brand Manager at Ghirardelli. "A first of their kind from Ghirardelli, Impressions are as exquisitely detailed as they are delicious, and we are excited to share this new line with our fans! Whether you enjoy them straight from the package, as baking decorations atop your favorite treats or as gifts to friends and family, these beautifully embellished premium chocolates will add the perfect touch of whimsy to your holiday celebrations."

The Ghirardelli Impressions line is available for a limited time only nationwide in select stores and online. To learn more about Ghirardelli and their products, please visit www.ghirardelli.com.
