Dickey's Barbecue to open new location in Parma, Ohio, on Oct. 31

PARMA, Ohio , October 30, 2013 (press release) – More Authentic Texas Barbecue Comes to Ohio

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is throwing a Texas-sized celebration for their new Ohio location. On Thursday, October 31 at 11:00 a.m. the new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Parma will kick off a three-day party. The first 50 dine-in customers will receive a gift card loaded with up to $50 at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit.

“We are looking forward to bringing authentic Texas barbecue to the Parma community,” said local franchise owner Ron Barnhart. “Parma is starving for great barbecue and we intend to satisfy beyond expectation.”

On Friday, the celebration continues with Dickey’s Barbecue merchandise giveaways. Radio station 99.5 FM will be on site Saturday and this location will be serving $2 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches from noon to 2:00 p.m. A lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card to Dickey’s Barbecue Pit.

Ron and Deanna Barnhart and their son Zane have lived in the Ohio area for many years. Ron was a former Vice President of Marketing for a catalog company. The couple was introduced to Dickey’s Barbecue Pit as customers of the Medina location. The Barnharts plan to open up more locations in the Cleveland and Akron area.
