October 20, 2013 () – Bega Cheese and Saputo will consider whether to increase their offers for Warrnambool Cheese & Butter Factory, after a $A420 million bid from Murray Goulburn. It is thought that Bega shareholders will support raising its $A372 million cash and scrip bid at a meeting on 22 October 2013. Canadian dairy company Saputo is considering whether to lift its $A393 million offer. Murray Goulburn is seeking a ruling on the deal from the Competition Tribunal
