Curt G. Joa issued US patent for 'method of producing a pants-type diaper'

United States Patent no. 8,557,077, issued on Oct. 15, was assigned to Curt G. Joa Inc. (Sheboygan Falls, Wis.).
"Method of producing a pants-type diaper" was invented by Thomas R. Coose (Plymouth, Wis.), John A. McCabe (Sheboygan Falls, Wis.) and Peter J. Jenquin (Plymouth, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for producing disposable undergarments is disclosed. The method generally comprises combining a first layer, comprising an elastic material sandwiched between layers of nonwoven material, and a second layer, comprising a backing material and a graphically printed applied patch of material layer."
The patent was filed on March 21, 2011, under Application No. 13/052,740.
