Rexam, the leading aluminium beverage can maker in South America, has recently launched two special cans with beer companies Germânia and Brahma.
Germânia’s 55 beer is the first beverage to be launched in Brazil in an innovative 24oz can. The new beer was the product of a strategic alliance between draft beer producer, Germânia, and beverage company, New Age.
It’s not only the size that makes the Rexam can stand out, it has an additional finish to enhance its on-shelf presence. The distinct soft touch varnish coating produces a special effect to make the can appear cold on supermarket shelves.
The new beer is currently available in São Paulo, Brazil.
Brahma, the official beer of this year’s Brazilian Oktoberfest Blumenau, has launched a celebratory can supplied by Rexam to mark the festival’s 30th anniversary. Held 3-20 October, the famous festival is Brazil’s Oktoberfest and the second largest beer festival in the world.
The can’s design is inspired by one of the most influential currents of German modernist design and architecture, Bauhaus.
