Approximately 4.71B cigarettes produced in Armenia in first eight months of 2013, up 72.2% year-over-year, according to statistics

YEREVAN, Armenia , October 2, 2013 (Arka News) – Tobacco products worth AMD 22.3 billion were released in Armenia in Jan-Aug 2013 - 64.7% year-on-year growth, National Statistical Service reports.

According to the statistical report, 4711.9 million cigarettes were produced in Jan-Aug 2013 - 72.2% year-on-year growth.

Armenia's Customs Service says cigarettes, cigars and cigarillos worth $32.8 million have been exported from Armenia for the first six months of this year - 2.6 times more than over the same period a year before. ($1 - AMD 405.34). M.V.----0----
