RAYONG, Thailand , August 21, 2013 (press release) – Thai Gorilla Pulp Ltd. (“TGP”), the leading non-tree pulp manufacturer in Thailand and Asia has received an order of several million in-flight boxes by the Thai Airways International Public Company Ltd. These boxes are delivered with the carton boxes made of palm pulp kraft liner.

The TGP CEO Mr. Ryosuke Tanaka states, “Thailand is one of the best places in Asia for Innovation, like Non Tree Pulp. Last year our company received the Environmental Award by the Governor of Bangkok and now we welcome the Thai Airways as a new customer. Being recognized by the prestigious company as Thai Airways is not only a major step forward for our business, but it also shows that highly innovative companies are accepted in Thailand. Being green, environmental and sustainable does not necessarily mean more expensive. We continue to focus on achieving our goal to protect the rainforests and forests of our earth.”

Since 2008, TGP has invented and continuously improved the new non-tree pulp manufacturing technology, made from the palm oil waste – the Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB). TGP’s technology, if widely used, can save more than 50% of the trees cut for the global paper production a year. The entire manufacturing process done in Thailand and the material suppliers being the local Thai companies, TGP continues to focus its goal to protect the forests with the highest gratitude to the King of Thailand and his government.
