Iggesund Paperboard Inc. today announced a US$40/tonne (US$2.00/cwt) price increase for the North American market, effective with Sept. 1 shipments.
In its announcement to customers, Iggesund said the increase is based on market conditions and escalating costs.
It will affect all Invercote grade lines and will apply to skids, cartons and rolls.
The company said all service charges and quantity up charges in connection with the manufacturing process will remain unchanged.
In its website, Iggesund says Invercote is a multilayered solid bleached board (SBB), made from sulfate pulp. The Invercote family consists of a range of products customized for different end-user applications and is manufactured at the integrated Iggesund mill in Sweden, according to the website.
Iggesund is a member of the Holmen Group.
