China's Ministry of Commerce on Thursday ended an anti-dumping investigation into coated ivory cardboard imported from the United States.
The ministry canceled the probe at the request of Chinese domestic paper manufacturers, including Ningbo Zhonghua Paper Co., Ningbo Asia Pulp and Paper Co., Ltd., MCC Meili Paper Industry Co. and Shandong Chenming Paper Group Co., the ministry said in an announcement.
Those companies filed for the anti-dumping investigation into U.S. coated ivory board makers in October 2011 and requested an end to the probe on April 2, 2013.
Coated ivory cardboard is mainly used in the production of clothing tags, postcards and packaging for cigarettes, medicine, cosmetics and other products.
