AKRON, Ohio , May 3, 2013 () – Aither Chemicals LLC is contemplating constructing a natural gas-based cracker unit that would make polyethylene and related products at a location in Ohio, Pennsylvania or West Virginia. Key to the project is access to newly discovered natural gas in the Marcellus Shale region. The firm is in the process of identifying various partners and looking at potential locations.
