LOS ANGELES , November 2, 2012 () – The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has approved Nestle SA's US$11.85 billion bid to buy Pfizer's infant nutrition business, Dow Jones Newswires reported Nov. 2.

Nestle still needs approvals from anti-trust bodies in several other countries.
