Simpson Lumber worker suffers deep gash in his back in Aug. 2 accident at Longview, Washington, mill; cause of accident not reported

A worker at Simpson Lumber Co. LLC’s mill in Longview, Washington, suffered a deep gash in his back as a result of an Aug. 2 accident, reported The Daily News Online on Aug. 3.
Isaac Hall, who works as a trimmer-stacker at the mill, was airlifted to Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington, and was reported in satisfactory condition on Aug. 3.
The cause of the accident was not included in the report by the Longview Fire Dept., which responded to the emergency call at 3:54 a.m. on Aug. 2, said Fire Chief Daryl McDaniel, The Daily News Online reported.
